Privacy Policy for Mineora

1. Information stored on your device

When you run a server, the App and the server software store the following in the App’s server storage on your device. Mineora excludes its app-managed server data from automatic cloud backup and device transfer:

• server software, world saves, and configuration files;
• player data for servers you host: Minecraft usernames and UUIDs of players who join, used to show the in-app player list and manage operators, bans, and the whitelist;
• if you enable a public address, a playit.gg tunnel secret, stored in the App’s private storage.

We do not receive world or server config files automatically. The linking service processes the tunnel credential as described below. Server files are deleted when you delete the server or uninstall the App. The tunnel secret remains until you uninstall the App or playit.gg rejects it, for example after you delete the Mineora agent in your playit.gg account. Resetting the public address keeps it. Copies you export remain wherever you save or share them. If you choose SD card storage, access protections depend on your Android version and other apps’ storage permissions.

2. Advertising and purchases

• The free version displays ads via Google AdMob / the Google Mobile Ads SDK, after required privacy choices. The ad SDK can process IP address, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic data to serve, measure, and protect against fraud in advertising. Mineora removes the Android Advertising ID permission. Google handles SDK data; we receive aggregate advertising reports. Older app versions may allow Google to collect an Advertising ID when available. Removing that permission does not stop all ad-related data collection. Since 1.2.6, Mineora uses teen treatment for all ad requests because its intended audience includes users aged 16 and 17. App-open ads respect setup, consent, purchases and frequency limits.
• The optional “Remove ads” purchase and tip jar purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Mineora receives product identifiers, purchase tokens and transaction status to process purchases; we do not receive your payment details. Tips are repeatable one-time purchases and do not remove ads or unlock features.

3. Analytics

If you turn on Share usage statistics, we use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used in aggregate, for example, how many Minecraft servers are started and the total amount of time servers are hosted across all installs. To do this, the Firebase SDK collects app-level usage data, including a Google-generated Analytics app instance identifier, app events (such as starting and stopping a server and a server’s session length), and basic device and country information. Google Analytics can also record completed in-app purchases (product and price) automatically. This data is processed by Google on our behalf and is used only in aggregate; it is not linked to your Minecraft account or the players who join your servers. The analytics instance identifier is pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity. Advertising ID collection for Firebase Analytics is disabled. You can turn usage statistics off in the App’s settings. This choice is separate from your advertising choices. Since 1.2.6, usage statistics are off by default. Older versions may collect usage statistics by default or connect that choice to advertising consent; their controls differ. Turning collection off stops future Mineora analytics events, but does not erase information already processed by Google.

4. Third-party services

The App connects directly to the services below. It also downloads its list of server presets from mineora.app, hosted on Firebase Hosting, which processes your IP address and request details. Linking playit.gg uses our Cloudflare-hosted service: it processes your setup code and returns a tunnel credential to the app. Cloudflare processes request metadata, including your IP address, to host and protect this service. Your Minecraft worlds are not uploaded to the linking service.

5. Your choices

• Where required, the App shows a Google consent form before requesting ads. You may decline or limit personalized ads. Where required, you can reopen Privacy choices in the App’s settings.
• Share usage statistics is off by default. You can turn it on or off in settings.
• You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
• You can buy “Remove ads” to stop all advertising.
• Because most data stays on your device, the quickest way to delete it is to delete the server or uninstall the App. For any questions, contact mineoraapp@gmail.com.

6. Security and retention

App-managed server data is kept on your device and excluded from automatic backup/transfer. Mineora’s provider API and download connections use HTTPS. Minecraft connections, third-party server code and tunnels have their own protocols; we do not claim all server traffic is encrypted. Local data is retained until you delete the server or uninstall the App. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

7. Intended audience

Mineora is intended for users aged 16 and older. It is not designed for children. Mineora does not ask for or store a date of birth or age group. Required advertising privacy choices still apply, and usage statistics remain a separate, default-off choice. We use Google’s teen ad treatment conservatively for every ad request, without assuming that every user is an adult. Server software, plugins and mods have their own privacy terms.

8. Servers you host

If you host a server, players who join send their username and UUID to your device, stored in your server’s local files. You act as the operator of that server and are responsible for it. We are not responsible for servers users host.

Only install server software, mods and plugins you trust. This code runs on your phone with Mineora’s app permissions and can access Mineora files and the network. Server software, plugins and mods may also have their own telemetry or online services. Check their settings and privacy notices; Mineora’s usage statistics switch does not control them.

Export server ZIP and Backup world ZIP contain your selected server/world files, which may include player data and private plugin settings. Store and share them carefully. Export debug creates a report when you request it, with a fixed set of technical fields and recent log tails from the available console and existing server log (up to 1 MiB per source). Logs may contain player names, chat, addresses or credentials printed by server software or plugins; review them before sharing. Server configs and worlds are not included in the debug report. This feature does not create continuous log recordings or extra saved debug copies. The exported ZIP remains at your chosen destination until you delete it. Mineora does not send any export automatically.

Full server and world ZIPs are backups, not support reports. They can contain sensitive information. Use Export debug for troubleshooting and check any file before sharing it.

9. Website and support

This website displays a dated snapshot of historical aggregate totals from a static file. It does not use a browser analytics SDK or connect your browser to Firestore. Firebase Hosting processes request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website. Links to Google Play, GitHub, Discord and other services open those providers, whose privacy policies apply.

If you email us for help, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and investigate the issue. Please do not send passwords, account tokens or full server backups. Contact us to request deletion of support information. Third-party data is retained under the provider’s policies and settings; uninstalling Mineora does not delete it automatically.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will update the effective date above.
