Privacy Policy for Mineora

1. Information stored on your device

When you run a server, the App and the server software store the following in the App’s private, device-only storage (excluded from cloud backup and device transfer):

• server software, world saves, and configuration files;
• player data for servers you host: Minecraft usernames and UUIDs of players who join, used to show the in-app player list and manage operators, bans, and the whitelist;
• if you enable a public address, a playit.gg tunnel secret.

We do not have access to this data. It is deleted when you delete the server or uninstall the App.

2. Advertising and purchases

• The free version displays ads via Google AdMob / the Google Mobile Ads SDK, which collects your Advertising ID, IP address, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic data to serve, measure, and protect against fraud in advertising. This is collected directly by Google; we do not receive it.
• The optional “Remove ads” purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. We receive only confirmation of the purchase; we do not receive your payment details.

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used in aggregate, for example, how many Minecraft servers are started and the total amount of time servers are hosted across all installs. To do this, the Firebase SDK collects anonymous, app-level usage data, including a Google-generated Analytics app instance identifier, app events (such as starting and stopping a server and a server’s session length), and basic device and country information. This data is processed by Google on our behalf and is used only in aggregate; it is not linked to your Minecraft account, the players who join your servers, or your identity. You can opt out via the consent controls described in Section 5, and on devices where it applies, resetting your Advertising ID further limits collection.

4. Third-party services

These connections happen directly between your device and the third party, under that party’s own privacy policy. We do not receive a copy.

5. Your choices

• Where required (e.g. EEA/UK), the App shows a Google consent form before requesting ads; you may decline or limit personalized ads, which also turns off analytics collection.
• You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
• You can buy “Remove ads” to stop all advertising.
• Because most data stays on your device, the quickest way to delete it is to delete the server or uninstall the App. For any questions, contact mineoraapp@gmail.com.

6. Security and retention

App data is kept in private, device-only storage, excluded from backup/transfer, and network connections use encrypted HTTPS (cleartext disabled). Local data is retained until you delete the server or uninstall the App. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Because the free version serves ads, it is intended for a general audience.

8. Servers you host

If you host a server, players who join send their username and UUID to your device, stored in your server’s local files. You act as the operator of that server and are responsible for it. We are not responsible for servers users host.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will update the effective date above.
